Leasing a property with a pool- before you enter into the accommodation agreement, you must provide a pool safety certificate or Form 36-notice of no pool safety certificate to the new occupier and the owner of the pool ( usually a Body Corporate/ care taker). It is important to note that the pool owner is responsible
Whitsunday Pool Safety inspections are based in the Whitsunday, Cannonvale area and can fit you in with 2 days of booking inspection. We inspect Body corporate properties, private sales and purchasers, rentals , airbnb properties, spas, resorts and even portable pools.
We enjoy visiting these beautiful parts and can inspect as requested. Due to the fact that we are based in Cannonvale, these will be an additional charge for travel/ time etc. Call us for a quote and we would love to assist as best we can.

POOL SAFETY BASICS-
Register your pool- You can check if your pool is registered on the pool safety register- . ( photo on right)
Entre your address and click "search." Once you find the property, be sure to check if the property is listed as SHARED or NON SHARED. Example of a Shared property- Unit blocks, Caravan Parks, Hotels, Duplex, Resorts.
Make sure your barrier complies with the law- To help understand the requirements the pool compliance checklist can be downloaded from the site.

Expiry date for certificate- Pool safety certificates for non shared pools are valid for 2 years from date of issue.
