POOL SAFETY BASICS-
Register your pool- You can check if your pool is registered on the pool safety register- . ( photo on right)
Entre your address and click "search." Once you find the property, be sure to check if the property is listed as SHARED or NON SHARED. Example of a Shared property- Unit blocks, Caravan Parks, Hotels, Duplex, Resorts.
Make sure your barrier complies with the law- To help understand the requirements the pool compliance checklist can be downloaded from the site.

Expiry date for certificate- Pool safety certificates for non shared pools are valid for 2 years from date of issue.
